Rutland is a city of 18,000 located in central Vermont at the intersection of two of the state's major highways... US Routes 4 and 7. It's central location to area ski resorts, lakes and mountains make it an ideal place to stay while you explore the wonders of Vermont.

US Routes 4 and 7 are the major highways leading into the Rutland area. Most lodging, restaurants and shopping are located along these two routes. Downtown Rutland is a well established, attractive architectural mix of shopping, restaurants and attractions.

In winter, ski several mountains in the area... Killington, Okemo, Bromley, ice skate at our new Field House, snowmobile many trails, ice fish on the lakes and ponds, snowshoe, etc... In the spring visit a Maple Sugaring Operation, During the summer visit local museums, amusement parks, exhibits, fish/swim, water sports in our many lakes and ponds, camp at our State Parks, hike the the Long Trail in the Green Mountain National Forest. Enjoy the beauty of the foliage during the fall.
